Kaskaskia College Soccer Players Receive Post Season Honors

Kaskaskia College is proud to announce that sophomore soccer players, Sylvia Adler (Haubstadt, Indiana), Rachel Hanold (Haubstadt, Indiana), and Monica Robinson (Anderson, Indiana), have been named to the All-Region 24 Soccer Team with Adler receiving first team honors.

Adler was a Forward for KC and this year scored 13 goals and had 5 assists.  She was recently named the NJCAA Player of the Week.  KC Coach Basch says, "Sylvia was a consistent goal scorer this year again and scored in every game she played in."

Monica Robinson was a Midfielder and scored 8 goals and had 5 assists.  "Monica was a key playmaker for the offense of this year's team," said Basch

Rachel Hanold was a Defender and had 1 goal and 1 assist this season.  Basch says, "Rachel was vital in our defensive efforts this year."

Adler and Hanold also served as team captains for the Blue Angels this fall.

"I am very happy for these ladies as they all are deserving of these honors.  Each girl had an integral part in our 12-2-1 record this fall.  All 4 are sophomores and they will be missed." Said Coach Joe Basch
