Despite logging 110 innings pitched with 41 strike outs in 19 starts, Makayla Lane, a freshman pitcher from Hardin County High School, actually made the biggest impact with her bat.  In 138 plate appearances, Makayla recorded a .361 batting average, with 11 doubles and a homerun, while driving in 12 runs.  With a year's experience under her belt, we look forward to next season as she will lead our pitching staff, in addition to the batting line-up.
