Mt. Vernon’s Shalyn Crane will continue Cross Country at Kaskaskia

Recent Mt. Vernon High School graduate, Shalyn Crane has recently signed a letter of intent to run cross country for the Kaskaskia College Blue Angels.  Crane earned a varsity letter all 4 years for the Lady Rams.

KC Coach Mike Hargis says of Crane, "We are so happy to welcome Shalyn to the KC cross country family.  Her running experience will be a great benefit as we rebuild and Mt Vernon has a great program lead by coach Connie Harre-Blair."

Crane says, "I'm excited to continue my running career on the college level. I want to thank Coach Hargis and Kaskaskia College for the opportunity. This will give me a chance to work toward my goal of being an orthodontic assistant."
