Hannah Keith Receives Vipers Fastpitch Softball Scholarship

Kaskaskia College is proud to announce that Hannah Keith of  Breese has been named the first recipient of the Vipers Fastpitch Softball Scholarship. 

Hannah is a 2018 graduate of Breese Central High School and is pursuing a degree in Education.  She plans to transfer to Greenville University after graduation from Kaskaskia.  She is the daughter of John Keith and Jodi Boeving.  

The Vipers Fastpitch Softball (VFP) organization, based in Carlyle was established in 2013 providing an opportunity to local youth to experience not only travel softball but also life lessons such as hard work, working as a team, time management, pushing through adversity and volunteering time.

The scholarship of $250 is awarded to a deserving candidate to assist in educational development that will be attending Kaskaskia College.  Criteria for the scholarship include:  current or former player of the Vipers Fastpitch Softball organization; cumulative GPA of "C" or above; enrolled as a full-time student at Kaskaskia College for the fall semester following acceptance of the award; and the recipient may pursue either an occupational or transfer degree.
